CONSULTING: What were the main factors that contributed to your firm’s exceptional growth?

CAMDEN: From the very start of the firm, we took the stance that “clients first” was how we would operate Strong-Bridge. It’s the idea that good business means always putting the needs of your client above your own, with an unrelenting focus on meeting and exceeding expectations. That attitude shapes client relationships that are really supportive and trusting. We’re also easy and fun to work with, and it’s not exactly by coincidence. It’s important that we pair the right people with clients every time, because quality work isn’t just derived by skill but by the ability for everyone to work well together. Beyond that, being innovative in our approach is something we are always striving for.


CONSULTING: How is this year shaping up for your firm?

CAMDEN: Strong-Bridge is having a solid year. Our focus has been on building our capabilities for delivery in a variety of markets and industries, as well as opening new markets. We believe this focus will position us for even stronger years ahead.


CONSULTING: How would you describe your firm’s outlook for 2017? Where do you see the most opportunities?

CAMDEN: We added some great clients in 2016 that provide some exciting growth potential. For now, our focus is on proving ourselves through exceptional delivery. Like any business, we like a full pipeline of new business, but we try not to lose sight of how important it is to make every client engagement a success. We pride ourselves in creating long-term relationships with our clients. Right now, we’re well positioned with current clients to continue working on some of their most important initiatives. In addition, we anticipate 2017 will include new markets for Strong-Bridge, alongside the continual support of newly added markets, such as Atlanta, Georgia.


CONSULTING: What would you say are your firm’s biggest challenges of 2017?

CAMDEN: Retaining clients first is something we see as our ultimate challenge— one kept front and center even as we grow. We’re also working hard on improving our operations and back office capability as well so we can continue to provide great service as we grow and expand.


CONSULTING: What does being named to Consulting’s Fastest Growing Firms mean to your firm, your employees, and your clients?

CAMDEN: We’ve grown consistently since our launch in 2003 due to the relationships we establish with our clients, the great talent we attract and the very basic fact that we really enjoy the work! Recognitions like this are a great testimony to these three things coming together to create success. We are very proud to be recognized and energized to deliver even more for our clients and employees.
